Interactive floor plans by ExpoFP are used for in-person, virtual or hybrid shows. Below you will find the main features you can expect from using our floor plans. Click on a header to expand the section.

 

Floor plan viewer

  • Interactive floor plan — supports displaying of multiple buildings, floors, stages with schedules, amenities, etc.

  • Search by company, booth or category — search results are highlighted on the floor plan

  • Exhibitor list — allows usage of categories and bookmarks

  • Digital wayfinding — includes accessible routes and connects multiple floors, buildings and objects on the area map

  • Area map — displays surrounding streets, parking and buildings for outdoor navigation

  • 3D floor plan view — provides an immersive visualization of event spaces

  • Session schedules — interactive and searchable event agenda that can be imported via Excel or integrated via API from third-party providers

  • Kiosk display compatibility — provides special kiosk mode with "You Are Here" icons that can be used with caching or offline mode

  • Outdoor GPS navigation — integrated GPS support for attendee navigation outside the venue

  • Indoor positioning — real-time "blue dot" navigation through partners like Crowd Connected® and IndoorAtlas®

  • Offline access and preloading — allows floor plan usage, including wayfinding, on mobile devices (including event apps) and kiosks without an internet connection

  • You Are Here QR codes — shows attendee location upon scanning

  • Language compatibility — adjusts the language of the floor plan to the browser language automatically

Floor plan management

  • Interactive floor plan creation — supports importing CAD/PDF files and layouts from Coconnex, using venue templates and custom colors, icons, fonts, and logos

  • Layout editing — allows unlimited changes to the layout by the account owner and team members

  • Various options to import and exchange exhibitor data — native integration with ExpoFP partners, publicly available API, your own Excel templates, Salesforce etc.

  • Exhibitor tags — used for organizing and labeling companies, as well as controlling exhibitor display and order within the booth

Booth reservation and sales

  • Online booth reservation — enables exhibitors to view available booths, pricing, and sizes, and reserve spaces directly from the floor plan

  • Customizable reservation flows — set up reservation options, use a third-party reservation form, customize confirmation emails, etc.

  • Collecting exhibitor inquiries only — supports filling out reservation forms without picking a booth and using "On Hold" to approve reservation

  • Booth extras and sponsorship sales — customizable options with descriptions, images, pricing and quantity limits

  • Built-in sponsorship options — highlights sponsors with logos in booths or the header, Featured Listings and Premium Listings with a proven engagement boost of up to 550%

  • Integrated payment processing — supports PayPal, Stripe, Square, Authorize.net, and PayPal Payflow for collecting payments with no extra transaction fees

  • Multi-event management — stores multiple events under one account with shared billing, payment gateway, and email server settings

  • Rebooking mode — allows exhibitors to secure a preferred location and gives event organizers an early commitment from participants

  • Account management — modify personal and billing details, create and clone events, and adjust event tiers with stored credit for future upgrades
