Our interactive floor plans work seamlessly on large touchscreen kiosks, offering the same intuitive functionality as on a phone or tablet. Attendees can easily search for companies, filter booths by category, view live event schedules, and use wayfinding to get step-by-step directions to any location on the floor plan.

Kiosk options

Your floor plan can be displayed on kiosks for no extra charge with standard design from ExpoFP. You can either use your own, or we can supply quality kiosks from our partner Popshap with the following pricing:

Specifications and features

If you want to have kiosks at your event, schedule a demo or contact us.

How our maps look in kiosk mode

This mode presents the floor plan in a user-friendly kiosk interface. The exhibitors list is accessible via the search bar, ensuring a clutter-free display. Notably, buttons are enlarged for improved accessibility, and sponsor logos are showcased at the bottom.

The kiosk refreshes every 30 seconds of inactivity, so the map stays centered for the next visitor. Additionally, a QR code positioned at the bottom-left corner allows visitors to seamlessly scan and access the map on their mobile devices.

You can download and run floor plans on the kiosks, allowing them to work offline. Go to Integration  - Download floor plan. Next, choose a download option that is compatible with the kiosk operational system and click Download Floor Plan.

How to place kiosks on the floor plan

Each kiosk needs its own identity and location for wayfinding and analytics, so each one requires its own URL. Here's how to place kiosks on your floor plan and generate a unique URL for each one.

First, go to Integration - Generate a Kiosk URL.

Then, copy the passcode from Integration - You Are Here QR codes and use it to log in to the floor plan's Kiosk Setup page. Your kiosk setup page is your floor plan's page plus "/?set-kiosk" (for example, https://demo.expofp.com/?set-kiosk).

Choose a kiosk location on the floor plan, place and adjust your kiosk, save changes — and your unique kiosk URL is ready!

You can create multiple kiosk URLs. When opening a generated URL in a new tab, you can use the wayfinding feature to build a route from the kiosk to any destination.

Analyzing kiosk engagement

We now offer new ways to see how attendees are interacting with your kiosks.

Kiosk analytics

You can see data for the kiosks by going to Reports - Analytics. There, you can view analytics relevant to each kiosk by selecting a specific one from the dropdown menu. All times are UTC.

Similar to other analytics we offer for tracking individual floor plan use, kiosk analytics will show total views for each kiosk which are the sum of exhibitor views, booth views, category views and map loads.

Kiosk heatmap

The kiosk heatmap can be accessed by going to Reports - Kiosk Heatmap. It tracks views for each kiosk with a color-coded map in the same way as the heatmap for points of interest and the You Are Here QR code heatmap.

Kiosk views are the sum of the following:

  • Loads (each time the map is opened)

  • Exhibitor views

  • Booth views

  • Category views

Please note that statistics may take up to 12 hours to show up on the heatmap. Also, heatmap statistics are estimates, not exact figures.
