Once you’ve seen how ExpoFP floor plans are displayed on kiosks, here’s how to place kiosks on your map.

Step 1

Open a floor plan in front view

Step 2

In the search bar, type setkiosk.

Step 3

Click on the screen where the kiosk should be.

Step 4

Optionally, adjust the kiosk icon (size and rotation), interface size, and map (rotation, zoom, and position).

Step 5

Save.

Step 6

Close.

How to Exit Setkiosk Mode

To exit the mode, press the close button.

WARNING
Do not clear the browser cacho on the kiosk.

Kiosk settings are stored locally in the browser. Clearing the cache will remove the kiosk and require a full re-setup. Reloading the page is safe and will not affect the kiosk configuration.

Analyzing kiosk engagement

We now offer new ways to see how attendees are interacting with your kiosks.

Kiosk analytics

You can see data for the kiosks by going to Reports - Analytics. There, you can view analytics relevant to each kiosk by selecting a specific one from the dropdown menu. All times are UTC.

Similar to other analytics we offer for tracking individual floor plan use, kiosk analytics will show total views for each kiosk which are the sum of exhibitor views, booth views, category views and map loads.

Kiosk heatmap

The kiosk heatmap can be accessed by going to Reports - Kiosk Heatmap. It tracks views for each kiosk with a color-coded map in the same way as the heatmap for points of interest and the You Are Here QR code heatmap.

Kiosk views are the sum of the following:

  • Loads (each time the map is opened)

  • Exhibitor views

  • Booth views

  • Category views

Please note that statistics may take up to 12 hours to show up on the heatmap. Also, heatmap statistics are estimates, not exact figures.
