Our Designer can help you easily create a floor plan for your event. To get started, you can upload the files containing your booth layouts in a variety of formats: DXF, PDF, SVG, PNG or JPG.
DXF files requirements
The main advantage of importing a DXF file is that your layout will be converted into an interactive floor plan. However, when working with DXF files, it's essential to maintain consistency. The default layer name for booths should be "fp_booths" and, for booth names, "fp_booth_names." To avoid clutter and maintain a clean design, it's important to delete any unnecessary layers and elements. If the objects in your file contain too many elements (lines, polylines, circles), it's better to remove them and use our Designer icons instead. Complicated objects may impact the performance of the floor plan.
Here is the full list of requirements:
Default layer name for booths should be fp_booths.
Default layer name for booth names should be fp_booth_names.
Booths should be polylines, with no block references.
Other layers and complicated objects should be deleted.
DXF should be created as a new file, and the fp_booths and fp_booth_names layers should be copied there, then saved and used for uploading.
How to import a DXF file
To import a DXF file, go to Settings - Floor plan and click the Import from DXF button.
PDF/SVG/PNG/JPG file requirements
Currently, the maximum resolution for the image files is 4096 x 4096 pixels. After the upload, you can scale it correctly and use it as a blueprint to drag and drop booths on top of the image. Make sure that the image is placed on the "Images (only Designer)" layer (otherwise, it will be seen on the front view).
Note: using complicated SVG files with too many elements can affect the performance of the floor plan. It's recommended to simplify your file or convert it into other file types.
How to import the image files
To import your booth layout, go to the Designer and click on the Insert file as image icon on the left toolbar. After uploading, you can scale the image correctly.
If you click on the image, you'll see its properties, such as the size and the layer on the right pop-up window.
