When you order floor plan creation by ExpoFP, our team provides Standard Design, which is typically sufficient for most organizers. Larger or more complex events may require PRO Design, which includes additional customization. If you're unsure which package is right for your event, our team will gladly review your project and recommend the right option.

Both design packages include digital wayfinding, GPS, kiosk mode, full layout editing, custom branded colors and fonts, and You Are Here QR codes. Some of the differences between Standard and PRO Design are below.

Event size

  • Standard Design: up to three buildings and/or levels

  • Pro Design: unlimited number of buildings and levels

Extra buildings

An additional building is defined as any of the following:

  • Completely separate structures — fully detached buildings requiring separate drawing, placement, and scaling.

  • Sections with different orientation — connected areas that must be arranged in a layout orientation different from the main structure and cannot be represented as a single, unified layout.

  • Connected buildings — structures linked by tunnels, bridges, or hallways that introduce additional design complexity.

Buildings are not counted more than once, even if they appear across multiple levels.

Extra levels

An additional level is defined when an extra layer must be represented in the floor plan's front view, including separate scaling, placement, or labeling to reflect the structure's multi-level layout.

Note that even if multilevel buttons are not used but multiple floors are shown on a single layer, it will still count as an additional level based on the building's structure.

Additional locations on the area map

  • Standard Design: a few clickable and wayfindable locations

  • PRO Design: a detailed map for outdoor events

Irregular-shaped (non-rectangular or rotated) booths

  • Standard Design: less that 30% of your booths can be non-standard

  • PRO Design: no limit to the number of non-standard booths

Event space and venue

Extra time is necessary to include unused spaces, inner walls, emergency exits, or custom-drawn staircases and seats.

Unused spaces are generally not included on floor plans, but we can include them as part of PRO Design.

Custom-drawn icons, shapes or ornaments

If you have custom icons and logos, our team can add them as part of Standard Design. However, we can also create stylized icons and shapes such as flowers, patterns, and expo-themed objects as part of PRO Design.

  • Standard Design: your custom icons and logos can be added

  • PRO Design: we can also create stylized icons and shapes such as flowers, patterns, and expo-themed objects as part of PRO Design.
