When you order the floor plan creation service from ExpoFP, our team creates a Standard Design map that is typically sufficient for most clients. Standard Design involves a set amount of time to create a beautiful and ready-to-use plan. The fixed price for this service is on the pricing page.
Some organizers might require more sophisticated features, such as venue details, custom stylized icons, points of interest (POIs) outside the venue or other customizations on the map. If any of these requirements are essential, we classify the work as Enhanced Design.
Here, we cover these options and associated costs.
Additional locations on the area map
Parking lots and hotels are included by default on the area map. Additionally, we can include restaurants, subway stations or other locations.
Cost: +15% to the design price.
Wayfinding drawn to places on the area map outside of the event space
If you select this option, the wayfinding will guide attendees to locations beyond the expo hall or building area. This choice complements the previous one, allowing visitors to plan routes from nearby subway stations or hotels using the event's floor plan.
Cost: +10% to the design price.
Additional event space details
Creating unused spaces, inner walls, emergency exits and/or custom-drawn staircases and seats requires extra time.
Cost: +60% to the design price.
Here are potential options of additional event space details:
Seats and stairs in the Standard Design are shown as icons. If the "additional event space details" option is requested, seats and steps can be added and aligned manually.
Spaces not used in the event (remaining behind curtains) are not drawn in the Standard design. If the "additional event space details" option is requested, even unused rooms are drawn.
Complex parts of the venue are simplified in Standard Design. With the "additional event space details" option, we recreate complex venues accurately.
10%-30% of irregular-shaped (non-rectangular or rotated) POI
Rotated and unique-shaped spaces take a longer time to draw and adjust.
Cost: +20% to the design price.
More than 30% of irregular-shaped (non-rectangular or rotated) POI
Many unusual shapes or rotated objects result in the significant time needed to fulfill the request.
Cost: +40% to the design price.
3+ colors for the background or booths
Color-coding different zones and areas of the expo requires more colors. Our designers make sure that all the shades of the background and booths match the branded color scheme.
Cost: +10% to the design price.
Location/size of all objects accurate to DWG/PDF within 1 foot
Objects in the Standard floor plan may be positioned up to 3 ft from their location in some complex cases, especially when only PDF files are available. Booth sizes and isles are always accurate. The enhanced design follows the provided layout more precisely.
Cost: +40% to the design price.
Additionally stylized icons and shapes
We can add stylized icons and shapes such as flowers, patterns and expo-themed objects.
Cost: +30% to the design price.
Showing columns
Drawing columns around booths and/or inside of them. This is useful for selling booths and making navigation for attendees easier.
Cost: +10% to the design price.
