By default, the emails at ExpoFP are sent from [email protected]. If you’d like to send emails from your own email address, you can set up your own custom mail server. The settings are shared among all the events under your account.

Go to "Settings - Mail settings" and choose a mail server.

How to create a Mailgun account
Check your inbox for a "Please verify your Mailgun account" email and click the link.
With your domain set up, you can send more emails, and the emails you send will come from you - you can set this option here. Add your domain name, which can be in ‘your.domain.com’ format or ‘yourdomain.com’.
4. Go to Domains page and pick your new domain from the list.
5. Go to the “Overview” page. Click on the “Select” button inside the API label and copy your domain API key.
How to configure Mailgun
If you have created a Mailgun account or already have one, then you can select the ‘Mailgun’ option and fill out the following fields and click on ‘Save changes’:
API-key: your Mailgun domain API key
Your name: it will be shown as a sender
Mail name: it will be in the email address before @ symbol
Your Mailgun domain name: after @ usually ends with mailgun.com
Configuring the SMTP server
You can select the ‘SMTP’ option and fill out the following fields and click on ‘Save changes’:
SMTP Host: smtp.host.com
SMTP Port: 587
SMTP username: your host username
SMTP password: your host password
From name: sender's name (may be empty)
From e-mail: your host address

How to generate a Gmail password
Generate an app password by visiting this page while logging into your Google account.
Turn on 2-Step Verification.
Generate an app password, type in the search bar “password”, and pick the “App passwords” item from the list:
Select the app — Other (Custom name).
Type in “expofp.com”
Now you have the password for the expofp.com SMTP mail server.
How to configure the Gmail SMTP
If you have generated a Gmail password, then you can select the ‘Gmail SMTP’ option and fill out the following fields and click on ‘Save changes’:
SMTP Host: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 587
SMTP username: your Gmail username
SMTP password: your Gmail generated password
From name: sender's name (may be empty)
From e-mail: your Gmail address
Sending a test message
You can send a test message to make sure everything is set correctly. Click on the ‘Test’ button, and a green box with ‘Message sent’ text will be displayed at the bottom left corner.

Can I use Mailgun SMTP for both attendee and exhibitor communications on ExpoFP?
There is no attendees’ email/registration on the ExpoFP platform at the moment.
